I offer two solutions:

a. Lend Colin a car to sleep in, so that he can give up his apartment and save himself $650 a month.

b. Have Vijay host Colin for 6 months.

i've seen vijay's house -- i'm convinced colin can live in there and hide from vijay the entire six months. vijay won't even know the difference!

He's already got (a) covered, but I think (b) would be a lot more comfortable.
